Chippewa Cree Police Offer $5,000 Reward For Information On Hit-And-Run Fatality

The Chippewa Cree Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who has information about the Dec. 12 hit and run that killed a 16-year-old girl.

The reward applies if the information leads to an arrest.

Lacey Kaide Arkinson was killed Thursday night after being struck by what police believe was a 2015-2016 dark-colored Dodge Journey minivan.

The girl was found on the shoulder of the road, but the suspect fled the area before police arrived. The vehicle should have damage on the front passenger side, a press release from Chippewa Cree police said Wednesday.

People with information are asked to call the Rocky Boy Police Department at 406-395-4513, or the FBI at 406-265-7181.

You can also send an anonymous tip via text message at 847411. Type the keyword RBPD, add a space and then type your tip.

Update: An earlier version said the “suspects” fled. From the information made available, police have been looking for a suspect and haven’t indicated they are looking for multiple suspects.
