Havre 911: Feb. 7 to Feb. 13

The following are Havre Police Department and the Hill County Sheriff’s Office reports. Both agencies respond to animal control calls, as well.

Friday, Feb. 7

12:46 p.m. First Street grocery. A caller reported possible drug activity.

4:14 p.m. Triangle Communications made 911 test calls.

7:57 p.m. First Street. Police arrested a 43-year-old Havre man on criminal child endangerment, aggravated DUI, and speeding charges.

11:05 p.m. Second Street. Police investigated a report involving a broken bedroom window.

Saturday, Feb. 8

4:25 a.m. First Street convenience store. Someone may have stolen a lighter.

4:38 a.m. Seventh Avenue North. Dispatch received a call about beer bottles in the middle of the road.

11:45 a.m. Montana Avenue. A caller wanted to talk to police about someone pawning his things.

2:04 p.m. Tracy Lane. A relative left behind needles and the caller wanted them disposed of.

5:50 p.m. First Street. A man who looked lost was stumbling on the road.

7:49 p.m. First Street grocery. Two people in the parking lot were probably drunk. Police arrested two people: a 49-year-old Box Elder woman on a misdemeanor warrant and charges of having an open container and probation violation; and a 57-year-old Pryor man on charges of disorderly conduct, having an open container, and on a probation violation.

8:06 p.m. First Street convenience store. Juveniles tried to steal cigars.

9:36 p.m. Third Street. A caller reported a drunk woman with a knife. Police arrested a 38-year-old Havre woman on assault with a weapon and partner or family member assault charges.

10:23 p.m. First Street. A male was punched in the face.

Sunday, Feb. 9

12:57 a.m. First Street bar. A bag of medication was found.

7:56 p.m. Someone reported dropping some money outside the courthouse the day before.

8:50 p.m. Third Street. A mother told dispatch that her sons were fighting. Police arrested a 20-year-old man on charges of obstruction, resisting arrest, and partner or family assault.

Monday, Feb. 10

3:07 a.m. Second Street. A landlord said a tenant told him there was a bunch of yelling and fighting upstairs.

6:40 p.m. 13th Street. Her son was acting crazy, a caller reported. No further action was required.

7:24 p.m. A male was throwing her stuff outside, a caller reported.

8:02 p.m. Third Avenue. Someone accidentally called 911 while trying to turn off her watch.

8:05 p.m. Washington Avenue. A caller reported underage drinking in her rental.

8:54 p.m. First Street bar. A bar caller asked police to check on a drunk man who fell in the bar and was now walking out in the cold.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

2:53 a.m. Fifth Street. There was someone banging on his door, a caller reported.

12:55 p.m. First Street. Someone was concerned about her co-worker’s safety.

1:44 p.m. A driver was on his way to North Dakota and accidentally called 911; he wasn’t sure how his device dialed.

Wednesday, Feb. 12

2:34 a.m. Fifth Avenue. His 16-year-old had not come home, a caller reported.

6:24 a.m. A man reported he was followed home by a stray.

7:21 a.m. Near Sixth Street, Fifth Street and 12th Avenue. A man said he was walking in the alley when a dog jumped the fence and bit him.

11:42 a.m. Fifth Avenue. A black puppy in the back alley had no shelter, a caller reported.

2:34 p.m. U.S. Highway 2 lodging. Two very drunk people needed to be removed from the hotel, the caller reported.

5:52 p.m. His girlfriend went to Great Falls on Saturday and still had not come home yet, a caller reported. No further action was required.

Thursday, Feb. 13

1:39 a.m. First Street lodging business. A caller reported to police that her boyfriend, who had been drinking, took her car. Police arrested a 20-year-old Hays man on DUI, driving without a license and minor in possession of intoxicant charges.

2:36 a.m. Someone called police to ask for the number to the detention center.

7:35 a.m. 18th Street. A Havre High School caller asked police to watch for speeders near the school.

9:14 a.m. First Street business. Police investigated after receiving a report from a pawn shop caller about someone paying with bad checks.

10:50 a.m. Montana Avenue. Police investigated a report involving a possible stolen gun.

11:11 a.m. Someone found a pink bike near the KFC alley.
