Judge Sentences Woman For Selling Meth – Havre Herald

A woman was sentenced Monday to 2.5 years with the Department of Corrections for selling methamphetamine to an informant in the parking lot of a local grocery store.

Judge Kaydee Snipes-Ruiz sentenced Lori Michelle Walker in District Court for felony criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. Walker got 47 days’ credit toward her sentence for time already served.

Walker’s offense happened in 2012.

An informant for the Safe Trail Task Force told an agent on Dec. 13, 2012, that Walker offered to sell meth to the informant.

Seven days later, the informant set up a meeting with Walker to buy meth.

The informant was given $150 to buy the drugs. The informant met Walker in the parking lot of Gary and Leo’s Fresh Foods and paid Walker $150 for a small baggie of meth.
