Havre 911: Friday – Sunday – Independent News of the Hi-Line

The following are reports from the Hill County Sheriff’s Office and Havre Police Department dispatch logs, agencies that also respond to animal control calls.

Friday

12:40 p.m., Jefferson Avenue. Kids were “ding-dong ditching” in his apartment building, a caller reported. He was tired of listening to them.

2:46 p.m., Boulevard Avenue. A caller reported a suspicious male and kids in the area.

5:20 p.m., Third Street. Kids kicked in her door and took her stuff, a caller reported, later adding that nothing was taken but she did want extra patrol.

Saturday

1:27 a.m., First Street. A possible drunk driver was reported. Police arrested a 24-year-old Havre man on charges of aggravated DUI and other-traffic offense.

3:52 a.m., 10th Street. A suspicious male was looking through windows into cars in the parking lot. Police made two arrests or ticketed two people.

1:36 p.m., U.S. Hwy 2. Someone was passed out on the bottom of mall hill.

2:45 p.m., Beaver Creek Road. Deputies arrested a 42-year-old Box Elder man on a misdemeanor warrant and obstruction charge after receiving a report about a male who was hitchhiking southbound.

4:13 p.m., 14th Avenue. A neighbor’s dog was running loose and biting the neighbor that was weed eating, a caller reported.

10:40 p.m., Rudyard Road. Deputies arrested a 39-year-old Rudyard woman on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to property and criminal mischief.

Sunday

12:23 a.m., 14th Avenue. A caller told dispatch that her boyfriend was hurting her and she needed him removed. Police arrested a 17-year-old on charges of minor in possession of intoxicant, partner assault and obstruction.

12:53 a.m., MSU-Northern. Police investigated a report after a man told police his daughter was receiving harassing and disturbing text messages.

2:28 a.m., First Avenue. A caller said kids were playing on the Boys & Girls Club’s playground. The allegation was unfounded.

3:04 a.m., Curve Drive. Police investigated a report involving two kids in a red Ford pickup who stole two pumpkins off someone’s porch.

5:07 a.m., First Street lodging business. A male was stealing stuff from a female’s room, a caller reported.

11:19 a.m., Second Street. Police investigated a report about stolen tools.

3:56 p.m., Second Street. A drunk female was yelling at a male.

10:42 p.m., MSU-Northern. Police responded after receiving a report about a disruptive drunk male.
