Havre 911: Police Reports

The following are recent Havre Police Department and the Hill County Sheriff’s Office reports. Both agencies respond to animal control calls, as well.

Friday, Jan. 24

10:49 a.m. First Street. A caller reported two children in diapers running around the hallway.

12:02 p.m. Someone called the police to report they’d locked their keys in the car. Police referred them to a locksmith.

4:23 p.m. First Street grocery. A man passed out on the front bench, a caller reported. Police arrested a 54-year-old Box Elder man on a disorderly conduct charge and a probation violation.

4:46 p.m. Third Street. A caller reported a stalker. No further action was required.

5:02 p.m. First Street bar. A very drunk woman refused to pay her bill, a caller reported. Police arrested a 56-year-old Lodge Pole woman on theft and disorderly conduct charges.

11:12 p.m. Ninth Avenue. Someone reported smelling marijuana.

11:37 p.m. U.S. Highway 2 lodging business. Police investigated after a male walked in and said he was jumped by two males with a baseball bat.

Saturday, Jan. 25

1:41 a.m. First Street bar. Callers asked police to ensure a very drunk woman they kicked out of the bar left the premises. The woman was hiding around the corner, the caller said. Police arrested a 40-year-old Box Elder woman on trespassing and disorderly conduct charges.

2:50 a.m. Second Street. Police investigated after a caller reported that someone threw a Twisted Tea bottle through the front window and shattered it.

8:50 a.m. U.S. Highway 2. Deputies investigated a report involving a stolen purse.

9:50 a.m. Lincoln Avenue. A female slowly drove up the street and looked into mailboxes and paper boxes.

4:49 p.m. First Avenue. Parents were arguing because he showed up drunk, a caller reported.

7:33 p.m., U.S. Highway 2. A caller told police he received repeat calls from Google asking for money. He bought a $200 gift card and now they wanted more money. The caller wanted to speak to a deputy.

9:54 p.m. First Street. A caller said she heard someone outside siphoning gas from vehicles and she wanted police to check it out.

11:44 p.m. Wilson Avenue. A man with a backpack was petting his dog, a caller reported. The man ran away when he saw him.

Sunday, Jan. 26

10:41 a.m. First Street. Someone stole beer, a caller reported. Police arrested a 50-year-old Box Elder man for shoplifting.

3:29 p.m. 10th Street. Someone reported receiving threatening messages.

Monday, Jan. 27

1:20 p.m. Third Street. Someone had questions about a resident.

9:03 p.m. First Street bar. A drunk man was acting belligerently. Police arrested a 51-year-old Havre man on disorderly conduct charges.

Tuesday, Jan. 28

12:27 p.m. Havre area. Someone driving an older model Jeep Cherokee almost ran the caller off the road.

2:27 p.m. Third Street. An aggressive brown, shaggy dog was chasing people.

5:34 p.m. 14th Street. A mother wanted to speak to an officer about her 6-year-old son.

Wednesday, Jan. 29

8:27 a.m. Wilson Avenue. A vehicle rear-ended a bus.

8:44 a.m. Someone wanted to talk to an officer about a juvenile who wouldn’t go to school.

10:43 a.m. Second Street. A pink and white Mongoose bike was reported missing.

11:25 a.m. 14th Avenue. A suspicious male was wandering the trailer park.

2:53 p.m. 11th Street. A caller asked for an officer to walk with him through the College Park Plaza building to make sure there was no one inside.

2:54 p.m. 10th Street. A caller reported harassment.

5:42 p.m. Beaver Creek Road. A stolen vehicle drove through his yard, a caller told Dispatch.

7:35 p.m. Jefferson Avenue. A blue van emanated a strong marijuana odor.

10 p.m. First Street. A male wanted to turn himself in.

Thursday, Jan. 31

4:05 p.m., Airport Drive. Someone accidentally called the police on their Apple watch.

4:33 p.m., Third Street. Five tomcats and one female cat were fighting all the time.

7:45 p.m., First Street. Police investigated a report involving a stolen blanket.
