Scott James Bergren received a three-year deferred imposition of sentence for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs, and a six-month deferred imposition of sentence for misdemeanor criminal possession of dangerous drugs. His sentence was part of a plea deal and if he abides by its conditions the offenses will be voided off his record.

On Nov. 6, the Tri-Agency Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence on Pike Street in Havre, which belonged to Bergren. Agents had information that drugs were being sold out of the home. An agent spoke to someone earlier in the day who bought meth from Bergren.

Agents found Bergren and someone else at the house.

Agents found multiple glass pipes, small paper bindles, syringes and marijuana bongs in Bergren’s bedroom. They also found a total of 1.5 grams of meth in the bathroom and in Bergren’s wallet.

While Bergren was being arrested, agents also found four grams of marijuana.
