Police Blotter, May 16, 2018

7:58 a.m. Matthew Joseph Saddler was arrested on a probation violation.

8:03 a.m., Second Street. Caller said a female busted in her house and wouldn’t leave.

8:53 a.m. First Street. Caller reported that a man took a 25 ounce can of Budweiser. Antonio Uriah Valdez was ticketed on a shoplifting charge.

9:39 a.m., Wildhorse Road. Two semis — one was carrying a tractor, the other fertilizer — collided near mile marker 10. The crash was minor. Trooper Matthew Finley of Montana Highway Patrol said neither driver was injured and both semis drove away. The reason for the “scrape” was due to the steep ditches on both sides that made it difficult for the semis to pass each other.

12:41 p.m. The back license plate was stolen off a car, caller said.

2:01 p.m., Third Street. A male threatened her on Facebook, caller reported.

3:30 p.m., Box Elder. Caller reported that kids were chasing goats.

4:09 p.m., U.S. HWY 2. Former employee stole some things, caller reported.

4:36 p.m., 17th Street. A playstation 4 was stolen.

8:24 p.m., First Street. Caller accidentally hit the emergency button on his phone.

WEDNESDAY

1:12 a.m., Second Street. Officers arrested Elizabeth Helene Schmautz on a driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and a warrant during a stop.

2:23 a.m., 11th Street. Caller said he could hear someone trying to get into his house.
